​Orrick’s Successful Women in IP group is hosting our seventh annual program and networking reception in Silicon Valley. Our Fall 2015 program will be focused on corporate policies aimed at promoting the advancement of women. The program will include a keynote address, followed by a panel and small group discussions, and conclude with a cocktail hour.

Keynote Address

  • Deborah Rhode, Ernest W. McFarland Professor of Law, Director of the Center on the Legal Profession, and Director of the Program in Law and Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford University. She is one of the country’s leading scholars in the fields of legal ethics and gender, law, and public policy. She has authored over 250 articles and 20 books, including The Beauty Bias, Women and Leadership and Moral Leadership. Her new book, The Trouble with Lawyers, was recently released by Oxford University Press.
