On June 9, the CFTC officially swore in Sharon Bowen, to serve as a commissioner.  Ms. Bowen was born in Chesapeake, Virginia.  She received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia, MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
